Goldenstones were invited to tender for this project, part of the process required a site visit to a current site. After attending a current project Goldenstones were awarded the contract. The site visit created much more work than the original tender with added paved sections. The general plan was a paved natural sandstone are against the house with curving edges to match the sweeping raised stone beds all finished and capped in local stone. Some texture was given with a couple of loose stone areas with grasses and stepping stones. The existing summerhouse became a centre piece with sandstone circles, one of which was bordered with beds faced with Cotswold stone.
A circular water feature was created to accommodate a recently purchased bronze heron and the grandchildren’s goldfish. Finally, trees & lighting were added.
